OverDrive is our digital library offering both eBooks and audiobooks to Robert College students and staff, anytime, anywhere! Sora is the new user-friendly platform that lets you access books through your laptop, phone or tablet.
Sora
Install the "Sora, by OverDrive" app on your device from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, or go to https://soraapp.com.
In Sora, find your school, then sign in with the first part of your email address and your school password
If on a computer, browse the collection using the Explore tab and borrow a book. Your book will open so you can start reading right away.
If on a mobile device, click on the binocular image 
at the bottom of the page, and click on the school name. From here you can browse the books. Click on borrow, to borrow a book
Close the book and go to your Shelf to see all your books. From there, you can:

Classic Overdrive
Step One: Click the Overdrive Link, or login to our Overdrive database http://robcol.lib.overdrive.com
Step Two: Login with the first part of your school email address and your school email password.
Step Three: Search/Browse for items.
Step Four: Click Borrow, or if the book is out, click the Hold button so you can get it when it is returned.
Step Five: Read the book by clicking Read. Do not click download unless you want to read the book on an eReader or in Adobe Digital Editions. You will not be able to take notes if you use Download.
Step Six: If you want to listen to an audiobook, click Listen. If you want to listen to the book offline click download the MP3 format.
